I love the coast and I live in the Sierra Mountains. So I frequently go there to get my negative ion fill. When I come back it is as if I can still smell the ocean air and feel it’s breezes. It was in just such a state of mind that I was compelled to paint this single wave, a wave representing all of the others. When the wave is coming close to crashing back on itself you can see the most amazing colors in that thin, rolling and thunderous veil of water. It is mesmerizing.
